If Not for You
I have been a self-harmer for like 1 1/2 to 2 years. I didn't really see a reason to stop. But then I found a friend and she showed me that she cared about me and she has been helping me stop. If I can't do it for myself all the time, I do it for her b/c I know (she has told me) that I am important to her, and just to know that someone loves you and wants you to feel good. One thing I have learned is that you should wear a rubber band around your wrist on really hard days where the urge is too strong and pluck it or keep your hands busy. Also you should buy red paint, paint with that instead. Although this is a long battle, sometimes the little things do help, so try to find someone or something for you!
